There's a lot to eat nearby, including Arabic and Muslim food shops, a well-known Japanese sushi restaurant behind the building, and an Indian Sikh restaurant to its left. The Guangzhou Friendship Store shopping mall is opposite, with 7/11 stores at both the front and back, plus several ATMs nearby. The apartment is near Taojin Metro station and the Guangzhou shoe, garment, and leather wholesale markets. The shoe markets are 8-10 minutes away by metro. International airline offices, including Thai Airways, Qatar Airways, and Sri Lankan Airline, are to the right. I found it a beautiful apartment in central Guangzhou and highly recommend it. Book online before arriving, as it's often full and same-day reservations are very expensive.

It's in a tall building just outside the station, though the map doesn't work very well. For about 5,000 yen, I was very satisfied. The downside of being so high up is the long wait for the elevator!
