The rooms are a decent size, and the hotel has everything you need. Staff were very friendly, and the breakfast buffet included a few Western-style options. There's a cafe and Japanese restaurant on the ground floor of the lobby, plus a large traditional Chinese restaurant on the second floor. Its central Guangzhou location near the East Railway Station is excellent, and being set back from the main street keeps things quiet. The downside is that it all feels very old. The bath fixtures at least need replacing urgently.

The staff were very helpful, even though they know little English and communication was difficult. The stay itself was pleasant, and being close to the Metro and Railway station makes it easy to get around.

It felt old and kind of spooky, and it was VERY DIRTY. The carpets in our rooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned in 10 years. The hotel is okay otherwise, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Our room was amazing, and the location was great, just a three-minute walk to the mall. From check-in through check-out, receptionist Angel Zeng was very helpful, and we really appreciated it. Late at night we asked Housekeeping Lady SUMAN BAI to buy something for us at an outside shop. She did an excellent job without asking any questions. 👏👏
