Guangzhou Jingtu Hotel (Beijing Road Pedestrian Street)

There are plenty of food options within walking distance, including Michelin restaurants like tao tao ju and da fan ge. Ordering food online was easy, and there are good mall choices too. We especially liked being able to check the washer and dryer status on the TV, and the bidets in the toilets were a big plus. The front desk team impressed us, particularly the people handling packages. pan pan and Ms Cai were very patient and helped us work through some difficulties.

The hotel is right by Beijing Lu Pedestrian mall, with lots to eat, shop for, and see. The metro is just across Tee Mall, and spots like Shamian Island, Yide Road, Yong Qing Fang, and Chen Academy are only a few stops away. We stayed here for the first few days of our recent Guangzhou trip and would come back when we're in the area. Our room was a good size. This was the only hotel on our trip with a safe, though it was very small, bolted to a shelf, and only fit cash and passports, not an iPad. There’s also a pillow menu. The staff were friendly and helpful. A shout-out to the lady manager on duty on 17Oct am, whose name I didn't get because she was busy. She called another sister hotel where we were staying after Shenzhen to check we could leave a large suitcase there for a few days before checking in. She also had a junior staff member wait with us for the taxi we'd ordered to make sure our luggage fit in the car.

The front desk staff were quick to respond and kind. They even handled our last-minute request to switch from a queen bed to a room with two single beds, though they were busy and nearly full. The hotel was great for cleanliness, location, and service. We'd definitely book again.

The hotel felt fresh and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Its spot in the heart of Beijing Road made it easy to reach local food places, the train station, and nearby attractions. The station was about a five-minute walk. A very convenient and comfortable stay in Guangzhou, highly recommended.
