The staff are friendly, and the rooms are spacious. The balcony is lovely for watching the moon and sunrise, and getting to Huangshanlu is convenient from this great location. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, and I liked the spring rolls and rice noodles. They also provided insulated Americano and milk, but the coffee machine was broken and the toaster wasn't working properly. Room cleaning could have been more thorough: the carpet and air conditioner smelled, and walking barefoot on the carpet meant stepping on hair and other debris.

The facilities are new and the stay was quite good overall, though the carpet was incredibly dirty. Have they thought about cleaning it? Breakfast choices were limited but enough. It was supposed to begin at 6:30, but staff and food were barely ready then. The location is hard to find: it's near the Humen toll station, but navigation only takes you along village roads. The restaurant is built against the mountainside, and from its name you'd think it was an Australian hotel. P.S. It seems they may have succumbed to the pandemic and are currently closed?
