There's not much to do around here, and the service wasn't great. One lady was very rude. The hotel is old, stuffy, and the interiors are dated. The AC didn't work well, the toilet smelled like bad pipes, the shower wasn't working properly, and the TV looked about two decades old. I'd avoid this place altogether.

I spent a week here in November 2019 and enjoyed my stay. It has a resort feel and unique interior architecture. There are two cafeterias, one on the ground floor and another on the fifth, and the food is very good. You can also shop at a few ground-floor stores, where beer is available at a very cheap price to enjoy in your room.

This is a bad hotel, but if you have to stay there, Sun’s bistro will make it worthwhile. It's within walking distance and serves Western food, including Mexican, American, and Italian, you name it. You'll love it. I'll upload food pictures and a card with the address.

There aren't any halal food options at the hotel or nearby, and the washrooms don't have Muslim showers. The staff are kind and very helpful, though they don't speak English. They can still help if they understand you through a translator.

The lobby and shared areas look smart and are kept clean, but the hotel itself feels dated. My room smelled damp, and the air conditioning never started working. Reception sent someone who told us to wait, but it still didn't work. The bar stayed closed throughout my visit, the WiFi was slow even by Chinese hotel standards, and the outdoor lights weren't switched on, so walking around the lake after dark wasn't possible.
