Staff were very helpful with our luggage. The station also had a separate business class area for people travelling business class on the bullet trains, with a lounge where we could spend some time.

You can enter and leave by scanning your passport, without getting physical tickets. Sometimes the scanner may not recognize it, so pick a gate near the assistant in case you need help.

People at the station and the staff helped my son a lot when he went to catch a train to Nanning. He doesn't speak Chinese, but everyone was very helpful, so it turned into a good experience.
