The nicest surprise was the shower. Hot water was included on the hot spring water card, though the room's so-called hot spring meter only measured hot water. Across the road, farmers sold ripe red dragon fruit in the morning, and it tasted great. The tour group was fine and the place was clean. The guide explained that “one pool” meant two, since the spring water was so hot it had to be mixed to even out the temperature. But the pool itself wasn't hot, so there was really just one pool. Since everything was handmade in mainland China, they hadn't specified whether the construction was leak-proof or how the drainage worked.
