Home Inn Guangzhou Panyu Shiqiao

The interior was lovely, the location amazing, and housekeeping kept things nice and clean. It’s a good international chain hotel. The problem was that nobody understood English.

I was there on a business trip. The facilities were clean and the staff gave good service. Some rooms have no windows, but that didn’t bother me. It’s unusual to find anyone at reception who speaks English, though the staff are very friendly and sometimes even offer coffee. Breakfast is all Asian-style.

I could leave my luggage in storage, the front desk service was good, and there was plenty to choose from at breakfast. The room I checked into did have a slight smell of smoke, unfortunately.

It’s very new, and the price is reasonable. Very good, and worth staying at.
