The rooms are on the small side, though that seems typical for this star level and central location. The sink is outside the bathroom, which is an interesting layout. The auto-flush toilet with its heated seat was a welcome touch in cold weather. The room was clean and functional, enough for a good night's sleep. Breakfast has local choices like bao, dumplings, and noodles alongside bread, bacon, and eggs. There's also an AI assistant called Xiao Du, but it only understands Chinese. My daughter managed to ask about the weather and get it to play songs. The hotel instructions say you can call the front desk through Xiao Du, though we didn't try that. I also saw a room with a washer, dryer, and ironing board, which could be handy for a long business stay.

The service was very good, and the staff were kind. The location is close to the metro, about 300 m away.

Getting around was convenient, and the service from Miss Zz and Miss Pp was especially attentive. The Hongyang Liyue Hotel had a lovely atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and great prices. The room was bright, spotless, and nicely decorated, with thoughtful touches that made it very Instagram-friendly. The hotel felt elegant, with impressive design and modern, tidy facilities. Everything went smoothly, and I'd strongly recommend it to travelers looking for a place to stay abroad. I definitely plan to come back.

The hotel is tucked into a small alley but gives a warm welcome. It's clean and conveniently placed near the Canton Fair, a subway station, and the Pearl River. One downside: there's no breakfast on checkout day. Buffet breakfast is only available on check-in days.
