The location worked well, with a large Walmart opposite and a McDonald's on the hotel’s ground floor. I was impressed by the security: every room had its own fire extinguisher and oxygen mask. Staff were nice, but we needed an offline translator to communicate. The bed wasn’t clean, the bathroom needs an upgrade, and there’s no push shower, which was a real problem for Muslim travelers. To get here from the south airport metro, get off at Feixing Park, then take bus 479 for 1 RMB. After 11, the bus number changes to 82 and the fare is 2 RMB.

It’s a distinctive hotel, though the location and distance from social media are its only downsides.
