The area is nice, with a mall nearby, and the view is great. Rooms are big and parking is free. It’s not very convenient to get around, so having your own car would make for a better stay.

The beds are comfortable and it’s a good hotel. Breakfast is reasonable, nothing more. The gym staff were very nice and helpful.

The restaurant was clean and had a great selection of food. Staff were super friendly and always smiling during our amazing stay for the Canton Fair. It’s conveniently just a five-minute walk to Canton Fair.

I stayed four nights at Courtyard by Marriott Pazhou in Guangzhou, and it was a pleasant stay. It’s a solid, good value option for business trips, especially for the Canton Fair and nearby events. The location is handy, with taxis and ride-hailing easy to find, and there are restaurants and convenience stores in the neighborhood. I’d stay again if my trip centered on the fair or nearby business. My room was clean, modern, and kept in good condition. The bed was comfortable, the linens fresh, and the air conditioning worked well in Guangzhou’s humid weather. Housekeeping kept everything tidy throughout the visit. The staff were courteous and professional, and ready to help. Their English levels varied, but communication was smooth enough for check-in, meals, and everyday requests. Wi-Fi was reliable for work and staying in touch. The gym had enough equipment, though it was small. Breakfast had a decent mix of Chinese and Western dishes, with consistent quality, but I would have liked more variety from day to day. It has dependable comfort and cleanliness, though it doesn’t have the luxury feel of Marriott’s higher-end brands.
