We stayed here during a one-day transit, and getting to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport took about 10 minutes by car. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within a 10-minute walk, and the hotel also offers airport shuttle service. The room felt brand new and was clean, with that new-furniture smell. The building has both “Jiayu Hotel” and “Starway Hotel” written on different sides, which was a little strange. Renovation work was still going on during my stay. The staff were kind and did their best to help, though their English was very limited. Definitely recommended!

I paid for a room but couldn't get it because the hotel isn't actually at the airport. It's an international hotel where only Chinese is spoken, and they didn't seem interested in helping or dealing with the problem. There was an English speaker in the background, but they still wouldn't help. The advertising was false and the customer service was awful. I'll make sure I and everyone I know never book here again.
