Liwan Plazza is very convenient from here. The hotel itself was frustrating, though: we couldn’t get a non-smoking room, so ours smelled of stale cigarette smoke. It rained heavily and eventually water came into our room. The lifts serving the sixth floor, where the hotel is, were always busy.

I chose a non-smoking room, but smoke from other rooms came through the air conditioner all night. There were no windows, either, and late at night I could hear loud voices through the wall from another room.

The staff were amazing, and the hotel was great value. I had a great stay.
