It’s close to several tourist attractions, and the service was top tier. The room didn’t have heating, but they brought in an external heater.

The restaurant serves traditional Chinese food, so good luck with that, guys)) Rooms are pretty spacious, though the better ones start on the 6th floor. Mine had a little kitchenette and tea and coffee sets, plus a big table that worked well as a desk. The window ledge was massive, with a colorful view of the railway station at night. The bed was soft, with a feather mattress topper, and the pillows and bathrobes were good quality. For China, the service was actually good too. Nice hotel, I have to admit.

Victoria, the guest relations manager, was friendly and kept trying to help, even though she had limited options. That earned the hotel an extra star from me. The rest was rough: it’s old and unclean, with strongly smelling carpets and mold marks on some walls. The WiFi was basically unusable. During my three-day stay, I never got more than 0.8 Mbit. If you need more than somewhere to crash, book another hotel.

The restaurant food was good quality, though we were the only ones having dinner. The rooms and beds were clean and nice, and the hotel is near the railway station and the China South West Airline booking office on its right. Reception staff were very helpful translating so we could get a train ticket.
