The rooms are beautiful, modern, and spacious, and the prices are very good. They cleaned mine daily and left fresh water and the toiletries I needed. Customer service was splendid despite the language barrier. I came from the UK on a business trip and loved my stay. The only downside was that cab drivers found the hotel hard to locate. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Guangzhou.

I’m writing this to warn other travelers. Jade jewelry I’d bought as gifts for family and friends, along with my personal pearl jewelry from Phu Quoc Island, went missing from our room. The bag with the jewelry in gift boxes had been left in plain sight beside the coffee table. I only noticed it was gone while packing my suitcase. Our vacation was ruined, and we left feeling helpless, with an empty suitcase. 😞 The management’s response was outrageous and hostile. They first tried to put the blame on us, saying we must have misplaced our things somewhere in the room. When we insisted the belongings were missing, they said the cleaning staff hadn’t taken anything, then suggested we question the maids ourselves. That was completely unacceptable and unserious. Nobody is going to confess voluntarily. They also wouldn’t provide the hallway CCTV footage, so we couldn’t find out who had entered the room. We called the police, but they couldn’t do anything. Our flight was the next day, and the police translator wasn’t available that evening. The hotel failed to keep our belongings secure, then blamed us publicly for what happened, telling us to search the room or interrogate the staff ourselves.
