The location was convenient, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. I had a very good stay at MAXX by Steigenberger overall. Street noise was the one serious issue. The windows let nearly all of it in, and on two of my four nights I could barely sleep. Better sound insulation would make this an excellent choice.

We had a great stay during the Import and Export Fair in Guangzhou. The hotel was lovely, the service excellent, and our room really comfortable. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend.

During the busy Guangzhou Trade Fair, we struggled to find a hotel for two nights because room prices had risen so much. We're glad we chose this one in the heart of the CBD. The room had an elegant, spacious feel, with a simple, uncluttered design that was still very comfortable. Highly recommended.

The room's lighting controls were the most annoying part. I just couldn't figure them out. Otherwise, I'd recommend this hotel. The staff were friendly, and my room was clean and spacious. The check-in cookie was a nice touch. It seems management heard the comments about street noise and provided earplugs. There was also a weighing scale in the room.

I tried to book for a whole month, but Sales Manager Robert never replied. Unlucky.
