Maimai stood out throughout our stay. We were allowed to use the gym during extended hours, even though it was an inconvenience, and they rearranged other reservations so we could use the lounges. Across the hotel, staff were warm and professional, from the front desk and housekeeping to the concierge and restaurant team. Maimai came up again, haha. Check-in and checkout were smooth, staff remembered our names and anticipated needs, the concierge helped personalize our plans with local recommendations and reservations, and the room was refreshed carefully each day. Dining staff knew the menu and accommodated dietary preferences without hovering. The hotel itself is spacious and clean, with rooms designed for comfort and convenience, plush beds, ambient lighting, and high-end amenities. The architecture combines modern elegance with local character. The lobby, lounges, spa, and dining areas felt both luxurious and welcoming. We enjoyed breakfast in the sunlit atrium and dimsum with a potential business partner in the signature restaurant. The food was fresh and well presented, and the menus were creative. The chefs clearly take pride in what they do. I've traveled widely in Canada and elsewhere, and this hotel compares favorably with even the finest places there. Its consistency, care, and attention to detail made the visit memorable. Whether for business, leisure, or a celebration, the team made us feel valued. Five stars hardly seems enough.
