The rooms are nice and tidy, though the toilet and the room’s front door have no separation, which can feel a bit impersonal. The hotel also shares its space with several other businesses.

My two-night stay was awful, and for some reason it’s missing from my Marriott account. At first they put me in a room smaller than the one I paid for. After I complained, they moved me to a supposedly better room, but daylight came straight into it as soon as morning arrived. In the last room, the lights went out and I had to call reception to get them turned back on.

The breakfast had a good variety, and it was convenient to have a toothbrush, toothpaste, and comb in the room. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, and the free water and two sodas each day were a nice extra. My room wasn’t as spacious as rooms at some other Fairfield hotels I’ve stayed in, but it worked fine. The staff were especially friendly and helpful, and kept going beyond what I expected.

The location made sightseeing inconvenient since the hotel is far from the city centre, and reception couldn’t effectively help English-speaking guests. During our family holiday we also found bed bugs, which was very concerning. Breakfast was underwhelming, limited, and not halal friendly. The room had an outdated toilet right beside the bed, with no proper privacy. The property also looked quite different from its online photos and felt more like a budget hotel. For the price, it was poor value. I wouldn’t recommend it to international travellers.
