The station was busy but easy to navigate, with clear signs and helpful staff. There were plenty of shops and places to eat before departure. Guangzhou East Railway Station was a smooth experience, though I'd strongly recommend buying tickets online in advance because they sell out quickly. A reliable option for travel!
