The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou

(I wrote this in English and translated it to Chinese.) The Ritz Carlton gave us truly first-class, five-star service. The concierge and other staff were attentive and kind, and my family and I enjoyed our stay a lot. It’s very kid friendly: staff provided stuffed animal toys and held Chinese New Year activities, including donut making. I had trouble getting restaurant reservations, so the concierge helped with that, arranged food delivery and Lantern Festival tickets, and explained how to get to our destinations. Everyone we dealt with was helpful and kind. I asked the concierge team, especially madix, jacob, and felix, lots of questions and made many requests, and they helped me so much. I really appreciate it. It’s walkable to a few very famous dim sum restaurants, too. I highly recommend the hotel for all kinds of guests.

GM Herman took great care of us as Titanium members. He was easy to reach on WeChat and kept me updated about possible upgrades during our stay. Housekeeping was so thorough that it sometimes seemed they came twice a day, and all the amenities were carefully replenished. The cookies left at night were a nice touch. The concierge also did a great job coordinating my many packages. The RC Guangzhou is well placed for walking to K11, with plenty of shops, coffee, snacks, and milk tea nearby. I'd stay here again on my next trip to Guangzhou. A big thank you to Herman and the team!

We had a fantastic stay at the Ritz Carlton Guangzhou. The concierge team kindly stored our bags since our flight wasn't until the evening, and we passed the time with a lovely afternoon tea in the lounge. The breakfast had an impressive range of choices, too. It’s a short walk to the riverfront, where you can go for a scenic run with breathtaking views of Canton Tower. Highly recommend!

I loved being able to run in the morning around this central Guangzhou CBD area. The Pearl River is about a ten-minute walk, K11 is under five minutes away, and the international mall is less than a ten-minute walk. I asked for a river-facing room and the front desk gave me one, with a nice view both day and night. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The evening room setup was excellent. The walk-in wardrobe was quite small, though, so there wasn't room for large suitcases. The doorman, concierge, front desk, room service, and housekeeping teams all gave excellent service. There was an English language barrier, but the staff were genuinely friendly and professional. My one disappointment was the breakfast buffet. Despite its wide international selection and the price, the Asian dishes tasted surprisingly bland. Management could look into improving that.
