Quiet was the best part for me. The hotel is close to a tree-covered university campus and away from metropolitan noise and chaos, so it could be a good choice if that's what you're after. It's the only hotel available in the Higher Education Mega City. The rooms are spacious, and the continental breakfast and Cantonese food are very good and authentic.

If South China University of Technology is your only destination, the hotel is on campus. For other universities, staying here doesn't give you any particular advantage. Overall, I'd call it a barely adequate three-star hotel.

The organizers had arranged this hotel for the maker competition. There were cracks in several room walls, insects, and a bathroom floor full of potholes. Service also wasn't very good, perhaps because there were so many people.
