The Westin Guangzhou

The Westin Club Lounge Manager Nand and her staff, especially Tonya, helped make our stay a great one. Hospitality and housekeeping were top-notch. Our Titanium Elite upgrade was great, and the later upgrade was even better. The room may be a bit dated, but it was well kept, comfortable, and clean. The lounge food and drinks were more than adequate, and we preferred breakfast there to the cafe. The sauna and hot and cold baths were good, though busy. There are indoor and outdoor pools as well. The 5-10 minute walk from Linhexi on Metro Line 3 was manageable. Guangzhou East Railway Station is also a short walk away, and the underground plaza is huge, with great shopping, including Aeon, and plenty of restaurant options such as Hakkayu.

We had a wonderful buffet dinner, and the whole family enjoyed it. Finding a restaurant for a large group on Christmas Day was difficult, but the hotel manager helped us get a table at the hotel's restaurant. The hotel itself was very clean, the bed was so comfortable, and the service was fantastic. I’d certainly recommend staying here when visiting Guangzhou. Thanks, Westin, for making our experience so good.

Yasmin, Lyra, Nancy, and Faye Yu made a real difference with their hospitality. Fortuna at the front desk was efficient, Xuyang the bellman was very motivated and helpful, and Lyon at the second-floor restaurant gave us wonderful service. The hotel is close to Guangzhou East Railway Station, which made getting around China easy, and Grandview Mall and other high-end shopping centers are about a 10-minute walk away. Our room was comfortable and housekeeping was efficient. The Executive Lounge was a comfortable place to spend time, with a nice breakfast and delicious evening bites. The Chinese restaurant on the fourth floor served sumptuous food, and I recommend the second-floor lunch and dinner buffets too. There’s also a well-equipped fitness center, plus a world-class pool and sauna. I had a wonderful stay at The Westin Guangzhou and would highly recommend it to business and leisure travelers.

The calm atmosphere and excellent amenities really fit the Westin experience. With a central location and stunning city views, it works well for business or leisure. The rooms are elegant, the service is top-notch, and the stay feels luxurious and relaxing.
