There’s a lively market just behind the hotel with fresh fruit and other things, and a big supermarket across the road. Renhe Metro station’s exit C2 is nearby. It’s a handy base for exploring Guangzhou or catching an early flight, with a free shuttle to the airport. Finding the pickup can be difficult if you don’t know Chinese.

The market behind the hotel woke me around 5 a.m. with honking and people shopping. I only stayed because I arrived very late on a Sunday and needed somewhere to crash. Given how far out of Guangzhou it is, I didn’t expect much, but I still wouldn’t stay again unless I was desperate.

It’s very convenient, but the hygiene was poor, there was no English-speaking staff, and they only cleaned the room when I asked. If those things were handled, it could be a great place.

I’ve stayed here many times and will be back soon. The airport and subway are close, and there’s everything you need nearby. Staff have been helpful whenever I needed something. There’s even a massage floor where I can unwind in the evening. I really enjoy staying here.
