Riverside YHA(Riverside International Youth Hostel) sits by the Pearl River, known for its colorful lights at night, and on a main road. It's easy to walk along the river and enjoy the views, or take a boat. The pier nearby sells sailing tickets that include a drink and snack, as well as dinner packages aboard. It's a low-priced hostel, but the rooms are nice and it was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. There are also shared facilities for guests, including a bar, dining room, mini library, reading room, and entertainment areas. There's a lot of demand, so booking can be difficult and you may need to reserve two or three months ahead. For getting elsewhere, you can walk, take a taxi, or find the nearest bus stop. If you're visiting Guangzhou and don't mind a hostel, I'd suggest staying here.

It was a great place to socialize during the Spring Festival holidays. I met people from all over the world and couldn't have asked for more. The place is neat and clean, and the staff are friendly. There's a mini bar open until late, with a 7 eleven right next door. A very good package.
Nice youth hotel right beside the river. The Wi-Fi in the room wasn't very good.
The location and rooms were good, but the Wi-Fi internet wasn't.
It's a big youth hostel, with plenty of facilities on the first floor.
