By the time we got there, we were too tired to look for another hotel, so we stayed the night instead of canceling. It was during the Labor Day holiday and cost 350 RMB. I wouldn’t stay again even for 100 RMB, much less for anything close to what I paid. The room was disgusting and falling apart, and the hallways smelled like piss. The elevator felt as though it might break at any moment, and the walls were so thin we could hear everything in the neighboring rooms. There was loud construction nearby, too. A little vending machine in the room sold condoms and vibrators, which made the place feel like some gross, seedy love hotel. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in in China. Do not stay here.
