The main problem was hygiene, and the hotel felt overcrowded. I had to wait at least 15-20 minutes for an elevator. The rooms were big, with two beds and a kitchen attached.

Right by the Pearl River and close to Yidelu metro station, this is one of the more affordable apartments in Guangzhou.

The electric cooker is useful, but there are no plates or spoons, and room service is very poor and slow. The lift is a big part of the problem. Be prepared to wait patiently, since the elevator can take 15-20 minutes to arrive.

The location is okay, and the rooms are okay too, but there’s no room service. I’d suggest the other Yoyo apt across from the big mall, which is much, much better.
