Amari Yangshuo

The hotel is well placed in the tourist town of Yangshuo, within walking distance of restaurants, pedestrian streets and the boat tour dock. It used to be called Amari and is now Yitian West Street Hotel (Building E). Our third-floor mountain-view king room had a balcony and plenty of space. The view was partly of the city and partly of the mountains. It was busy and a little noisy during the day, but quiet at night, so we slept well. We skipped breakfast when booking. It ends at 10am, and for late risers there’s a Starbucks, noodle shops and a McDonald's nearby. My friends tried the breakfast and thought it was OK: a Chinese cooked-food buffet, an omelet station and mediocre coffee, among other things. There’s also a small gym with the basics, including a treadmill, bench and weights, plus a spa called Yujian Spa. I’ll try the spa and update my review.
