They picked us up at the train station, which was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and this is a really nice place for westerns looking for somewhere to stay.

The owner spoke extremely good English and helped us arrange an amazing boat tour, along with sharing general tips. We were there for 2 days and had a great stay. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. Strongly recommend this hotel!

We had a river view room at the Riverside Inn, and I’d highly recommend choosing one. My wife and I stayed several nights in September of 2023 and really enjoyed it. The management was especially helpful, giving us very good advice about train travel. You’ll enjoy this fine establishment!

For 162 CNY/20 EUR a night, our double room had a great bathroom and a cute, almost romantic feel. They changed the towels daily. The downsides were cleanliness and internet: it looked fine at first, but we soon found “leftovers” from previous guests, as if the cleaning staff were literally sweeping dirt under the carpet. The 2018 hygiene grade was C, the worst possible, so we decided against breakfast there. And in the evenings, the internet was painfully slow.

The atmosphere was quiet, and I had a comfortable room for my 5-night stay. It was clean and comfortable, with a really nice bathroom. The staff were always friendly and helpful. A nice hostel.
