Waking up to the mountain view was amazing, and the room was so peaceful. During my China road trip, this hotel was incredible. Michelle and her family were kind and always ready to help. I’d recommend the savoury breakfast option too, it was a lovely way to try the local food. I’d absolutely return if I visit Guilin again. 😁

The room was beautiful and had an amazing view. We had a great stay at the village creek Inn, and the hotel staff were friendly and very helpful.

The bike paths around the lake pass through some of the most beautiful places, and free bike rental made it easy to explore. A taxi to the city center took 10 minutes and was fast and cheap. The room window view and the view from the roof at dawn are a special love! The hotel also serves fresh, home-cooked quality cuisine made with home-grown vegetables and fruits. Fresh watermelon, melon, and orange juices at breakfast, mmm. Thanks so much to all the staff, including the owner Michelle and Lilly, for a great holiday. We also unexpectedly got to join a free dumpling-making master class, and it was super!

The homemade food was a real highlight, so fresh and tasty that it’s worth trying. Our room was clean and had a lovely mountain view. The area feels calm and restful, yet Guilin’s downtown is only about 10 minutes away by taxi. Michelle and her team were amazing, too.
