The staff were friendly, and the hotel was comfortable and inexpensive. It’s downtown, close to Solitary Peak, a delicious-smelling tofu place, a good pizza restaurant, and a shop with a selection of fine European beer.

The hotel photos match what you’ll find, and the prices are affordable. It has four or five floors and is conveniently located, with free Wi-Fi and 24-hour access to hot and cold water. The rooms have air conditioning, mosquito nets on the windows, and flat-screen TVs with lots of channels, though they’re all in Chinese. Daily cleaning is provided, along with towels, bed linen, and two 0.5-liter bottles of water. Breakfast is included in the room rate and tastes good, and there’s also an option to book without breakfast. Rooms have everything you need. I highly recommend it.
