Four days went by too quickly, but we had a really lovely stay. There are only two or three employees at the hotel, and they're all very friendly and helpful. It has an almost family-like atmosphere. The hotel is also very central. Turn right and you're among the local shops; the night market is a 15-minute walk to the left, across the bridge. Whenever we had a question about things like visiting the rice paddies, taking a river cruise, or finding restaurants in town, they helped straight away. The hotel excursions were also 50% cheaper than booking online or in town. One tip for China novices like me: bring plenty of deodorant, since it's not really available here.
