The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spacious, fairly modern, clean, and comfortable. For a countryside hotel, it's a decent place to stay, though it does feel a bit worn and the restaurant never seems to be open. I stayed one night and was glad to have somewhere warm and dry to get out of the rain and cold.
