Longji Terrace Slow Life Homestay (Ping'anzhai Jiulong Wuhu View Spot)

We first came to this area 15 years ago, and I'd always wanted to return. Two nights weren't enough, so we're already thinking about another trip. I didn't get to walk all the paths in this village, let alone explore the other two villages. Longji Holiday Hotel is in a beautiful spot, and the hospitality was wonderful. Mai and her brother handled everything, including arranging shared transport to and from Guilin for 200 for the two of us. They also carried our bags from the car park, which we really appreciated. It's a short distance from there, but getting to the hotel means going up and down a lot of stairs. That's just how this area is. It wasn't an issue for us in general, but my husband had hurt his leg, and even getting around was a struggle. I chose a room on the second floor, but he couldn't explore with me. Our room was comfortable and lovely. We slept with the balcony door open for fresh air and cool nights, and there were lots of lights and outlets. A luggage rack would have helped. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. You're supporting a local family, and they do a stellar job, though handling large groups must be quite a challenge, so patience helps. Some reviews mentioned a view, but unless you're on the fifth floor there isn't one, since someone built behind the hotel.
