Old Manor House is a beautifully restored home in a small village beside the Yulong river. We really enjoyed staying there, and the hosts were so welcoming and helpful. The Chinese food was really good. We ate there for breakfast and souper and weren’t disappointed. It was also lovely having the tea room available, a nice way to end the day with a tea ceremony.

We visited in 2015 and had a wonderful time. Staying here instead of in the larger towns turned out to be our best choice. The hotel and village were peaceful and picturesque, and the hosts were super friendly. It’s rustic, but had all the comforts we needed. We rented bikes from the hotel to explore nearby villages and attractions, which was great. I hope to visit again soon!
