The village setting feels cosy, and a lotus pond sits right in front of the hotel. Reed Flute Cave, a must-see, is very nearby. Although it’s a bit out of the way, booking a Didi is easy. My Panorama family suite was spacious and clean, and the staff were very helpful. There are lots of small hotels and homestays around. The main drawback for seniors is that there’s no lift.

My Deluxe Queen Room with Mountain View matched the photos. The hotel sits between the mountains, facing a small lake, and it feels almost new. The staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurants aren’t very close, so bringing snacks may be useful. There’s a small convenience store about 100 meters away, though it has limited choices. A lovely place to unwind and enjoy nature.
