Samtia Holiday Hotel

Sophia made our stay so easy with her kind, attentive service, and the whole team kept things stress-free with recommendations and reservations. Ancient Garden Yangshuo was easily our favourite hotel on the China trip. The setting is beautiful, with a lovely garden, pool, great views, and a very relaxing feel. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the food was delicious, and we liked having bicycles available to explore the area. Absolutely recommend it!

Ancient Garden was our favourite place during our three weeks travelling around China. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a beautiful bathroom. The staff were attentive and helpful, sharing lots of local tips and even going out to get fresh coconuts for us. We could borrow bikes for free, too. We had to leave early, so Sophia arranged breakfast ahead of time. It’s a lovely hotel with wonderful staff, especially Sophia, Amber, Rebecca, Cathy and Sara. Highly recommend. Julieta and Cesar

My daughter and I spent two nights here over the weekend and had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is peaceful and nicely designed, and the staff know the area well, speak enough English to communicate, and are keen to help and offer advice. On the manager's suggestion, I took a four-hour scooter tour with an English-speaking guide. It let me see both the natural scenery and authentic rural villages. The area is incredibly beautiful, with unique views. I'd also recommend visiting Yangshou night's market in the evening, with its interesting shops and activities. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel twice, and the food was very tasty. We'd certainly like to return. Shira and Ron.

It's surrounded by plants and trees, with a lovely natural feel. The place is quiet and peaceful, just right if that's the kind of atmosphere you're after.
