Steigenberger Guilin

Our double villa was enormous, and the rate felt like fantastic value. At night we could step into the garden and look at the stars. The package covered breakfast and entry to all three theme parks for two days, and having a driver for transportation made things very convenient. Awesome! 👍

We had a comfortable two-night stay at this villa-style place in Yanshan, Guilin. The courtyard setting was lovely, and the rooms were spacious and clean. The surroundings were peaceful.

After finding Songpin by chance in Guilin, it became the hotel we chose for the rest of the trip. We’d already stayed in Tianjin and Chengdu, and were originally booked at a well-known five-star hotel in Guilin. There was hardly any information about Songpin online, which made us curious enough to go in and look. It turned out to be a huge surprise, and we kept booking Songpin Hotels after that. I rarely want to give a hotel more than five stars, but Songpin’s service and facilities would deserve six or even seven from me. The meals felt thoughtful and on par with high-end hotels. The rooms were beautifully designed and comfortable, with little to criticize. It felt less like simply spending a few nights somewhere and more like having a really comfortable stretch of time. We took photos and videos, but they don’t come close to showing what the stay was actually like. Songpin made the trip especially enjoyable. I’d recommend it to anyone who cares about the experience and doesn’t want just a standard hotel. When we visit other cities next time, we’ll choose Songpin again.
