The Bamboo Leaf Yangshuo

The reception team made everything feel easy, from choosing things to do in Yangshuo to booking attraction tickets and transport. They were kind and welcoming to foreign guests, and we could just relax and enjoy our stay. Highly recommend.

Getting to the Li River Cruise landing takes only a few minutes on foot, while West Street and the city are about 2 km away. The hotel lends bikes for free and rents e-scooters for USD9. The staff were especially helpful with transport and booking tickets for Ruyi Peak, which I highly recommend. We don't speak or read Chinese, so their help was a godsend. The rooms and staff were fantastic, and the pool and restaurant were excellent. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.

The pool was lovely, and we spent a lot of time there. Our room was clean, had a nice view of Village garden, and the staff were so friendly, with a little English. We enjoyed breakfast and tried several dinner dishes too. The western food was very good. Loved this hotel and hope I can return someday. I'd highly recommend it.

As vegetarians, we found eating in China could be a challenge, so it was a huge relief to have plenty of options at the hotel restaurant. The food was good quality and very reasonably priced, and the pool was a lovely place to unwind. The hotel is in a peaceful area with great views, about a short cycle or a 20-minute walk into Yangshuo town. Bike rental is free, and a free shuttle runs regularly. If you arrive from Guilin on the Li River cruise, the drop-off is about an eight-minute walk away. The staff spoke good English and went above and beyond when we got our departure time wrong and risked missing our train. They called around and found us a taxi at the last minute, saving the day. Fantastic location and wonderful staff.
