The free room upgrade from the front desk was appreciated, thanks. The hotel's typical Vienna Hotel look is pretty tacky, and the fabric chairs in my room seemed really dirty. The hairdryer barely had any power. It's very close to Guilin Railway Station, with Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area and Sun and Moon Twin Towers Park about two kilometers away. There didn't seem to be many good restaurants nearby, and traffic made the street-facing rooms noisy.
