Xitang River View Holiday Hotel

The staff were very helpful with sightseeing, and breakfast has Western options. It’s a quiet spot right on the river with fantastic views, yet West St. is only a 10 minute walk away. Great hotel, highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our three nights at this cozy little hotel. It was great value for the money, too. Shops and restaurants are easy to reach on foot, and I loved sitting on the rooftop to watch the sunrise, take in the fresh air, and admire the landscape. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was tasty, with a good mix of hot and cold choices, and the complimentary afternoon tea every day was a lovely extra. The employees were all very friendly and helpful, and the customer service impressed us. I speak Chinese, but my husband doesn’t, and he was still able to communicate with the front desk just fine. They helped book and arrange a few activities around town, some at lower prices than we found online. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Yangshuo.

There’s a shallow beach below where you can set off fireworks, and you can pay to ride horses in the morning. It’s only about a 10-minute walk to Yangshuo West Street, with lots of little shops along the way to browse. The location is convenient, the scenery is beautiful, and parking is free.

The rooms are lovely, very clean, and spacious, and the views are incredible. Service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Just for booking, they give you complimentary fruit, pastries, and fantastic homemade juice every afternoon. Breakfast is very good too. 100% recommended.
