The lobby is gorgeous and the hotel looks lovely, but our room didn't match the app photos and looked out onto a burger van. When we raised that, they talked about using A.I to calm us down. We looked at five other rooms and chose an upstairs one with a partial river view. It counted as an upgrade at no extra cost, though getting out of the hotel meant a ten-minute walk. Had I known what the view was actually like, I would have booked somewhere else. We went to the Origins Lodge for coffee and food several times. The food was fresh, a chef came in to cook at set times, and the service was very good. Go there!

Beautiful scenery and a really friendly staff. It's a quiet, interesting place set away from the main path.

Great area. It used to be called an old "Riverside retreat".
