Yangshuo Tea Cozy Boutique Hotel

I was worried this place might feel isolated since it's outside Yangshuo, but after seeing how party-focused the city is, I was glad we stayed in this lovely town. There are still restaurants within walking distance. The property was beautiful and well looked after, and the staff were total sweeties. It was the best place I stayed during my whole trip in China. I was so happy with it. Renting scooters and exploring the countryside is a great way to see what you find. So peaceful and joyful!

The location's views and look were unbelievable, and the pool was gorgeous. Blooming lotus flowers filled the yard, while the building had lovely authentic pieces from the area. Every room also had its own balcony with beautiful views. I'm American and this was my first trip to China, and I truly couldn't recommend a better place to stay. Suzy was especially kind, fun, and accommodating. She helped us find guides, rides, and things to do, which made the trip memorable. Whatever we asked for, the staff found a way to make it happen, even at the last minute or the day before. The food was spectacular too. I'm gluten free, and they were happy to leave out the soy sauce. Every meal here was the best we'd had on the trip. A few practical things: they bring water bottles daily. There are 5 levels and stairs, so it's not handicap accessible. Staff speak English, and the menu has traditional Chinese and local dishes as well as western options.

Suzy was a huge help with information and arranging or finding things for us. The service was excellent, and the price and room were great too. I'd definitely choose this over staying near Yangshuo proper town by West street, which gets busy and loud.

The location is great, and the traditionally designed hotel has luxury Kohler bathroom fixings. The staff are super friendly, and the 3 chefs make really good local dishes from their organic kitchen at great prices. Excellent, and worth coming back for!
