The village is a quiet way out from the city center, around a 15-20 Yuan taxi ride, and you get in over a bridge. I stayed there at the end of May and really enjoyed the calm setting. The rooms were modern and clean, the staff were lovely and helpful, and there are a few restaurants and little shops for basic things.

The rain kept things really quiet when I visited in the shoulder season. The hotel is modern, with lovely views, and the staff were very helpful. Past the village gates, there’s a little miefun restaurant where you can get a delicious, inexpensive bowl of noodles.
