There’s a large shopping mall attached, with lots of shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is good, though most staff don’t speak English. Google Translate helped me get by.

My stay here was bad. The air conditioning is centrally set to 26°C, so the room was hot and stuffy enough to give me a headache. They brought me a fan to cool myself down. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I was treated horribly at Pullman Guiyang, and the experience left me uncomfortable and disrespected. The customer service was poor, and the staff’s attitude was unacceptable. I expected better from a hotel under the Pullman/Accor brand. A hotel at this level should have staff who are polite, professional, and helpful when guests need assistance or raise concerns. Based on how I was treated, I wouldn’t recommend it. I’ve had better experiences at hotels where guests are shown basic courtesy.
