Sheraton Guiyang Hotel

Breakfast service was poor. When I spoke to the waitress, she seemed to ignore me and went back to the counter, leaving me waiting. Even when I followed up at the counter, the attitude was still bad. If breakfast service had been good, the whole stay would have been five-star. The rest was okay, and some staff were great. Concierge Xiao Yang（YCX） was very professional and did his best to handle our requests after we booked at the last minute. Room service staff Felia Feng ( Feng Zirui was very nice and brought everything we asked for when we needed it. Lobby Manager Sue Fan walked us to our taxi for the airport and brought us some food from the restaurant for the trip.

I’ve been waiting for my deposit refund since October 7. My boyfriend and I checked in on October 2, and the receptionist charged both the stay and the deposit on a card, saying the deposit would be returned a few days after checkout. Two and a half months later, it still hadn’t arrived. The hotel told me to contact my bank. I went twice and sent the hotel my full October bank statement, which shows both charges and no deposit refund. My bank confirmed this twice and said Guiyang Sheraton needs to make a transfer. The hotel ignored that and kept my money. I book hotels every month and have never had this problem with a hotel before, or with a refund from a business to this bank account.

The staff are really friendly, and the lobby is lovely. Breakfast was good too. The location is very convenient, close to most attractions.

It’s in a nice spot and the hospitality is good. The hotel itself isn’t new, but the service is nice.
