The staff were really friendly, though their English wasn't very good. Getting into town means taking a car or taxi, so buy a Chinese SIM card. Alipay and WeChat Pay are the main payment options, and credit cards aren't much use. The hotel was nice, and breakfast was very good.

The restaurant food was good, though a little more expensive than places outside. The rooms are a decent size.

We stayed here as a group on July 5, 2019, and everyone was very happy. The room was clean and luxurious, and the hotel has a swimming pool. A good place to stay.

We didn't stay at the hotel, just came to visit an herbal shop. They gave us a little treatment, a simple foot reflexology session. The hotel area is big and it looks nice.

I visited Haikou in December. It was cold, but really clean, and I enjoyed the fresh air.
