It's an older hotel that's being renovated. Our room, 1411, was clean and quiet, with a great bed and pillow. The washroom was all good, though there wasn't much of a view from the window. There are malls on both sides, and the area used to have lots of shops, mostly selling snacks, along with small food stalls. The snack shops close at midnight. It felt safe for the two of us to walk in the alley, but watch out for the electric cars and bikes since they're quiet and can sneak up on you. Breakfast has more variety, but there's not much seating. It opens at 6.30am.

This seemed to be the hotel of choice for group tours. The rooms were clean and well maintained, especially by China standards, and the bed was comfortable. There are a few shopping malls right next door, handy for shopping and food. Breakfast was a letdown. The restaurant was packed, and I found a bug on the dumplings. That put me off eating.

The room was clean and tidy, and roomy enough for two. Wifi worked well everywhere, and breakfast had plenty of choices. The power outlet accepts worldwide plug types, so there was no need to bring a converter. It's easy to get to, just a few minutes from downtown. A good, nice place to spend the night.

There's a shopping centre nearby, so it's easy to find food. Wifi is available in every room, though the room itself wasn't very clean. I think there's a special KTV on the fourth floor.

After a long flight and a full day of preparation in Indonesia, I really needed a warm, comfortable sleep. The beds and pillows were amazing, and breakfast was awesome too.
