The room was spacious, with attractive modern decor, and breakfast was decent. The staff seemed quite inexperienced, and there weren’t enough of them to provide good service, though I understand they were doing their best. Getting around wasn’t very convenient, and there weren’t many nice restaurants nearby. I’d suggest taking taxis everywhere if you stay here.

Food choices were limited, and rooms on one side all face a mall with bright lights and noise. There aren’t refrigerators in the rooms, and I couldn’t access the roof garden when I tried. The decoration was good.

On my first group trip to mainland China, I was the only vegetarian. The tour leader from Wufu Travel and the local guide were very kind and arranged for me to have my own table throughout the trip. The food was delicious and hygienic, and I’m very grateful.
