We were visiting Hangzhou for a vacation, so the location was a little inconvenient for us. The hotel is near the university, which is a plus if you have children studying there. The receptionist kindly let us shorten our stay. The room was fine for two people, and breakfast was okay, with both hot and cold options. The staff were nice and kind. I found it odd that the evening cocktails were served in the same restaurant as breakfast. We were there in January 2026, so maybe it was low season.

The hotel and breakfast were good, and the gym and swimming pool were good too. The restaurant was bad, though. Don't order burgers or beer.

The food, rooms, and staff are all quite nice at this upscale hotel on the Westlake University campus, which was established recently. Most of the staff speak little or no English. The location works perfectly if you’re visiting the university or nearby areas. Otherwise, getting to Hangzhou city center takes 40 minutes to an hour by taxi, depending on traffic.

We were really happy with the service and the very clean bedroom. A woman named Hua Xiaoyu was especially helpful and kind to guests. Thanks, bro. We’ll be back another day. Best service ever. 😁
