The room's connectivity and lighting made this a poor stay for me. Wi-Fi and mobile reception were weak, and I couldn't stream to the TV, so I was limited to its built-in programs. In the suite, the living room table was left in the dark while the entrance was well lit. I tried to fix that with a standing lamp, but couldn't find an outlet for it. The hotel may be new, but its facilities felt very poor. A bad experience at this Marriott group hotel.

The comfortable bedding and pillows stood out, and the top-floor suite I got with a suite voucher had a nice lake view and pretty good soundproofing. I was on a business trip and barely had time to spend in the hotel, though. It's quite new, and there was still a slight renovation smell in the room until I opened the window. There's a tennis court beside the hotel, with matches going on during my stay. Maybe I'll play there next time. I'd choose Fairfield by Marriott again.
